VVSU Rector Tatiana Terenteva was Awarded the Medal "For Contribution to the Development of Vladivostok"
Vladivostok Mayor Konstantin Shestakov awarded the medal "For Contribution to the Development of Vladivostok" to Tatiana Terenteva, Rector of Vladivostok State University. The mayor emphasized that the university has become a driving force for the city's development.

Under Tatiana Terenteva's leadership since 2015, VVSU has transformed into a multi-level educational complex. The results confirm its impact on the region: the student body has grown from 9,000 to over 16,000. According to the "Rabota Rossii" platform (2023–2025), the employment rate of graduates is 74%, with 70% working in Vladivostok and Primorsky Krai. For several years, VVSU has remained the leader in the "Education" indicator among 39 regional universities (Interfax ranking).

The university is strategically developing programs in IT, artificial intelligence, engineering, robotics, and tourism. It implements business-integrated training with leading employers and actively develops targeted admission for city enterprises.

VVSU also serves as a key platform for youth and cultural life, co-organizing major events such as the Youth Day and City Day celebrations, which contributed to Vladivostok being named the Youth Capital of Russia — 2024. The university also focuses on patriotic education, recently opening a memorial classroom named after Hero of Russia Sergey Efremov.

"I really want to see our city well-maintained and meaningful," Tatiana Terenteva noted, thanking the mayor for the recognition.

The staff of Vladivostok State University congratulates Tatiana Valerievna Terenteva on this well-deserved award and thanks the city mayor's office for the high appreciation of the entire university team's work.
