VVSU Shapes the Future of Education in Russia-China Dialogue
A round table titled "China and Russia: The World of Modern Educational Practices" was held at the All-Russian Children's Center "Okean" as part of the Cross-Year of Education between Russia and China – 2026. The platform brought together teachers, methodologists, and government representatives from both countries to exchange practical experience.

Vladivostok State University was represented at the event by Victoria Soleinik, Head of the Institute for the Preparation of Foreign Citizens, and Olga Bogova, Head of the Department of International Academic Mobility.

The program included three tracks: "Human" (development of values and personal potential), "Skills" (competencies in a changing environment), and "Technology" (current pedagogical methods).

Among the speakers were representatives of consular services, universities, and children's centers, including Wang Dajun, Consul for Educational Affairs of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Vladivostok; Professor Ge Xinrong; Diendien Duan, Secretary-General of the Beijing Camp Education Institute; and others.

Particular interest at the meeting was sparked by Victoria Soleynik's report on Russian language teaching technologies and the adaptation of international students at VVSU. It demonstrated how strategic partnership is embodied in specific methodologies.

Participants highlighted the value of the inter-sectoral format of the meeting. It helps to view the educational ecosystem as a whole and scale up best practices. The round table made it possible to identify effective tools and outline steps for their implementation into the educational processes of Russia and China.
