"Youth of Primorye" together with the Primorsky branch of the Russian Union of Youth (RSM) presented the board game "We Are Together" as part of the project "Different. Brave. Young | Primorye." The initiative is aimed at fostering interethnic communication through educational events. VVSU staff and foreign students were the first to get acquainted with the board game.
The meeting was attended by Viktor Egupov, Leading Specialist of the Department of Social and Cultural Adaptation at the Institute for Training Foreign Citizens, and Omar Hamed, Specialist of the Department of International and Cultural Activities at VVSU.
"We Are Together" is a team game about friendship, traditions, and mutual assistance dedicated to the Year of the Unity of Russia's Peoples. It features 24 nationalities that live in our region and beyond. Participants go through various life situations — from simple to complex — and help each other cope with them using the traditions of different peoples.
"This board game will be used both for conducting history lessons for foreign students at the institute for training foreign citizens, and for leisure activities during summer holidays and academic time," shared university staff.
Representatives of "Youth of Primorye" offered their colleagues to hold a master class for VVSU foreign students. During this session, learners will be introduced to the goal of the board game, its rules, and beneficial outcomes.
The presentation of the game "We Are Together" took place at the forum "Unity of the People – Strength of Russia" in the National Center "Russia" in Vladivostok. Copies of the game will soon appear in libraries and schools across Primorye, while project coordinators are already preparing gaming collections for young people.
