The best way to learn a foreign language is to live and study in countries where this
language is spoken. We are happy to invite you to Vladivostok State University of
Economics and to take a great opportunity of getting Russian language training from us.
Vladivostok is one of the largest and most beautiful cities of the Russian Far East.
Its population is about 800 000. Vladivostok is the administrative and cultural centre of
Primorsky Region.
Vladivostok State University of Economics is situated almost in the centre of the city.
It enters the new millennium as one of the leading center of education in Russia which is
guided by the world best educational traditions. The number of students exceeds 20.000.
VSUE provides training on 30 major / professional fields and 80 specializations in the
following institutes:

VSUE.

The Faculty offers a wide range of programs on Russian to different categories of
students. You can choose one of them depending on your goals and level of language
competence.

Course duration is form 4 weeks to a full academic year.
Our courses on Russian include:
- Basic course: 20-24 hours a week. Level of language proficiency - beginners to advanced. This course suggests mastering skills in grammar, reading, listening, and speaking.
- Intensive course: 30 hours a week. Level of language proficiency - early beginners to advanced. This course enables you to learn the language or to master your skills in a short time period.
- Summer training: 10-20 hours a week. Level of language proficiency - early beginners to advanced. This course include language training, recreation activities, sports, and tourist tours around the city for large groups.
- Special training: Level of language proficiency - intermediate to advanced. Course duration and week hours (10-16-20) are determined by the student himself.
Classes are delivered in groups of up to 15 students that enables language instructors
to pay special attention to every student. Highly qualified language
instructors offer you efficient programs which include speaking, reading, writing,
listening.
A wide use of technical devices/facilities (audio and video records) enable our
students to speed up the educational process. Our trainees can take full advantage of
computer labs, and great libraries with free access to all resources.
The university tries to make its students feel at home. VSUE is a modern complex with
students' dormitories, winter garden, traditional Japanese stone garden, gyms, cafes and
refectories, internet-cafes, beauty salon, shops, laundry, bank, etc.
To study and live at the university is quite safe, as the territory of the campus is
under police control 24 hours a day.
