VSUE provides its foreign students with different options when deciding where to live. You can choose one of them. If you let us know in advance, we will book a room in the dormitory or find an apartment for you.

Dormitory
University’s dormitory is the most convenient and secure place of living for students. It is located in front of study buildings on the university’s territory which is guarded and watched over day-and-night.
There are 2 types of dormitories available.
The first one - more comfortable and expensive-offers you different apartments depending on the level of comfort and number of residents (tenants). There is a lavatory, bathroom with a shower, refrigerator, and a TV in every room. It is also supplied with a standard set of furniture (a bed, writing desk, and wardrobe). A chambermaid tidies the rooms everyday and changes the linen once a week.
There is also a laundry, kitchen, and telephone on every floor.

If vacant two bed rooms are available, you can reside in one of them alone provided that you pay full price of the room (that is the price per person increases twice).
The second type of dormitories is less expensive (a 4-bed room, 1200 rubles monthly per person). Rooms are furnished with 4 beds, a table, wardrobe, and refrigerator. Lavatory and shower are at the end of the hall / corridor. Students are to clean their rooms by themselves.
Host Family
If you wish, we can suggest you living in a host family. We present this opportunity only to students of 18 and older. All info on conditions and prices will be submitted by our coordinator.
Apartment
If you want to rent a separate apartment, we can help you in searching appropriate place of living / variants. Average prices are 10000 rubles a month. The price is determined by the level of comfort and city area.
Catering services
Catering services enable students to have a quick and tasty snack during short time breaks. There are two large students’ cafeterias and a separate teachers’ dining hall. Our cafeterias provide a wide assortment of meals / courses (soups, salads, side dishes, sweets, etc.). Moreover, there are 5 cafes, where you can have a snack, talk to your friends and have some ice-cream, rolls and tea or coffee or Coca Cola, etc.
Besides, there is a small food store in the university where you can buy all necessary food stuff.
Our catering services are available from 8:30 up to 18:00 every day except Sundays. An average three-course dinner is about 50-100 rubles.
