It is a well known fact that students make better progress in their studies if they can
effectively spend their leisure time. Therefore, we invite you to participate in our
diverse recreational programs, which encourage you in practicing Russian, making new
acquaintances with Russians, learning interesting facts about the country, its traditions
and customs. Indeed, you will see unique nature of Primorsky Region and have a chance to
participate in Vladivostok cultural events. We promise to make your life in Russia
interesting and notable.
The staff of the faculty will also organize (for an additional fee) excursions and
visits to theatres, exhibitions, circus, etc.

Making new acquaintances with VSUE's students
You will have an opportunity to interact not only with your teachers, but also with
Russian students who actively participate in university's celebrations, competitions and
contests. There is a Youth Centre at the university where very talented, creative and
motivated students are engaged.
They are happy to welcome everybody who can make our life
more interesting. There is a dance group "Lada", music group, theatre club, etc.
